Please leave your request for a repeat prescription in the letter box provided at the entrance to the surgery. Tick the items you need on the right-hand section of your previous prescription form. Your prescription will be ready for collection 72 hours later. For safety, this practice does not accept telephone requests for repeat prescription unless you are very ill or housebound.
We also have the option of NHS Wales App this allows patients to order repeat prescriptions online. Please ask a member or reception how to register for this service.
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment. You will be notified of this on the right had side of your repeat prescriptions counterfoil. You also will notice other messages appear occasionally, such as informing you when the Flu Vaccinations are available.
OBTAINING MEDICATIONS IN AN EMERGENCY OUTSIDE PRACTICE OPENING HOURS
Outside surgery hours please telephone the surgery and you will automatically be diverted to the Out of Hours Service or telephone 111. Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board are responsible for providing this service to you. Alternatively contact NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47 or visit them online at www.nhsdirect.wales.nhs.uk.
DISPENSING SERVICES
We can provide all repeat and acute medication to all patients that live more than a mile from the Chemist and to any temporary residents. The dispensary is located inside our surgery. You will need to sign a consent form to confirm that you want your repeat and acute medication picked up from the Dispensary.
