We have two sites: Gerafon Surgery Benllech (01248) 852122 and Tal y Bont Surgery Llangefni (01248) 722105

Gerafon Surgery, Benllech is open 8.00 am and operates an Emergency phone line until 8.30am and the surgery is open until 6.30pm

Tal y Bont Surgery, Llangefni is open 8:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday to Friday (except Tuesdays)
Tal y Bont Surgery closes on a Tuesday afternoon but in an emergency Tal y Bont patients can contact Gerafon surgery on 01248 852122.

Both surgeries are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays

Monday: 08:30 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Tuesday: 08:30 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Tal y Bont closed pm)

Wednesday: 08:30 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Thursday: 08:30 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Friday: 08:30 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Dispensary

There is a dispensary on each site.

The dispensary opening hours are as follows:

Monday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Tuesday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Tal y Bont closed 1:00 pm)

Wednesday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Thursday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

We regret that we can only dispense to patients who live more than a mile from a chemist.

Ordering Prescriptions

We regret we are no longer able to take requests for repeat prescriptions by phone unless a patient is housebound. Patients should use alternative methods to request their repeat prescriptions. You can use the following methods:

1. If you are a chemist patient, you can speak to them about the services available to you. Most chemists will have a choice of repeat ordering systems available).
2. You can drop your repeat slip into the letterbox provided outside each surgery (please make sure you have ticked the items you require)
3. You can order NHS Wales App (an online ordering system). Please ask at reception if you are not currently registered for this service.
4. You can email enquiries.w94023@wales.nhs.uk with your name, date of birth and list of items you require (please ensure you provide the name and the amount you require).

Please allow 72 hours for your prescription to be processed at the dispensaries and up to 7 days at the chemists.

Test Results

Please phone between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm for test results.
